This beautiful scroll is delicately hand painted by a skilled scroll artist on fine rice paper. A cotton blend matting is used around artwork. Each piece is one of a kind, therefore there may be slight variations in pattern and color. The Heart Sutra is the most popular of all Buddhist scriptures. Its Sanskrit name Prajñaparamita H?daya literally translates to the "Heart of the Perfection of Transcendent Wisdom".
